Manaco energy solutions offer panel-mounted multi-function load managers [model plm-80]. These load manegers give precise measurement of power systems with a typical accuracy of ±0.1 per cent for volts, amps and 0.2 per cent for kw. All measurements are continuous and uninterrupted. Versatile design provides compatibility with a variety of load types including single phase and star or delta connected three phase. Inputs are suitable for connection to current and/or voltage transformers allowing load measurements from milliwatts to gigawatts. Inputs from the three independent phases are monitored by a high-speed a-d converter and microprocessor, with a multi-tasking software operating system ensuring that no event is missed. For each phase, the voltage, current and power are measured directly, with other parameters derived in software. The measurement process is continuous with all signals scanned simultaneously at high speed. Distorted and non-continuous waveforms, with harmonics to the 20th are accurately detected. The display is updated every second, and all values are scaled by user programmed ct and pt ratios. A floating-point processor provides true rms reading over a wide range of inputs and ensures maximum display resolution under all load conditions. Instantaneous power parameters are integrated over time providing up to 11 registers.
