Hand chains are electrically butt-wielded, accurately calibrated which easily fits in sprockets of hand chain wheel made of graded casting as per is-210. Forged hooks as per is-8610 are fitted in upper-arm and bottom-block is made of heavy duty malleable casting/sg iron casting with accurate chain sprockets for smooth running of chain. Gears are made out of nickel-crone alloy steel. Hobbing cut heattreated alloy steel gears with wide faces insures long life. Brake is of automatic screw and disc type where by the pressure and sustaining power increase in the proportion to load being lifted.
