Mahendra engineering offers portable hardness testers, which are used for determination of brinel, hardness and tensile strength of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These hardness testers are most useful for heavy castings and other workpieces, which are difficult to be carried to a table type hardness tester, technical specifications include: brinell ball of 10 mm dia fixed in the holder; each test bar calibrated and tested with multiplying factor marked; magnifier of 10x magnification, range from 0 to 10 mm, scale of 0.1 mm; and hardness comparison tables for brinell hardness of various metals.
