Mikrotek instruments offers broad band high-voltage dividers, hvm 50-200, hvt 122 and hvt 242. The model hvm 50-200 is designed for measuring high dc and ac-voltages in combination with hvm 2001. The design includes top electrode, socket of alloy and coaxial connection cable. The models hvt 122 and hvt 242 rcr are designed for measuring high dc, ac and pulse voltages using hvm 2003. They are measuring equipment with high-frequency transmission characteristics. The high-voltage impedance consists of a precise metal film resistor and a high-voltage capacitor with series damping resistor in parallel. The measuring cable with the termination network is an essential part of the divider. The hv-resistor consists of a high precision low-inductance resistor and excels by its long term stability. A capacitive divider for transmission of ac-voltages is connected in parallel to the resistive divider. Hermetic sealing of all high voltage components warrant extensive protection against environment conditions. Due to low stray capacitance these dividers are surge voltage proof.
