The Bimetallic Thermal Overload Relays are housed in high-grade Bakelite molded enclosures with excellent di-electric strength. The Bimetallic Thermal Overload Relays are of two types, single phase and three phases.
Key Features of Bimetallic Thermal Overload Relays
- Relay terminals & bimetal carrying parts are made from high conductivity material and are silver/nickel plated to prevent undue heating & watt loss.
- Each relay is individually calibrated on sophisticated test-bench as per BIS Standard Specification- IS 13947 Part-4/Sec.-1 to ensure the tripping during overloading & single phasing. Relays are of Auto-Reset type.
- Three phase relays of Type: Size-II is fitted with temperature compensating mechanism to counter the effect of ambient temperature on the tripping time of relay.
- A wide range of relays with adjustable current setting are available for single & three phase as given below 4 - 6.5 AMP, 6 - 10 AMP, 9 - 14 AMP, 13 - 20 AMP, 16 - 24 AMP and 24 - 32 AMP.
