Alfa card frames are designed engineered with specially developed aluminium extruded sections. To ensure accuracy flexibility and simplicity, aall parts are manufactured using dies and jigs. All plastic parts of the card frames are injection moulded on automatic machine. Pcbs can be guided at any of the 84 positions between working aperture by fixing card guides on main extruded sections. Dimensional criteria of the card frames include:. Alfa card frame system is fully compatible to din 41494 [parts] all plug-in units are modular in concept and are based on the first card position being 3.27 mm, from the left hand datum line of the working aperture. Subsequent card positions are on the multiples of 5.08 mm [1 hp] from 1st card position available space in between two side panels is 429.3 mm. 1 hp [horizontal pitch] = 5.08 mm; and 1 u [vertical increment] = 44.45 mm.
