Universal tool offers solid carbide thread cutters and taps. These are manufactured from microfine special carbide for milling of threads in difficult materials. These suitable for hardened material and work by planetary machining in the hole. They can machine the thread from m4 to m24 in different sizes, and can be similarly provided in inches, bsw, bsf, etc. Solid carbide thread mills are also supplied in internal coolant hole type, whereby the coolant reaches right up to the cutting edge. Besides carbide inserted tipped design for larger diameter of the hole, thread milling cutters are also manufactured in high cobalt percent , high speed steel.
