Microsense technologies has developed microcontroller - based photoelectric sensors that can detect high-speed objects reliably. These tiny sensors [3x2x1.3cm] have outputs with driving capacity of 500 ma each and short-circuit, overload and inductive load protection. The sensors work off 10 to 30v dc and offer diffuse scan for a sensing range of 200 mm. Sensitivity can be adjusted from 1 to 20 cm in this range. The sensors find applications in machine tools, paper, pharmaceuticals, textile, food, packaging and other.
