Ashutosh supplies and manufactures v-belts with moulded cog design. These high horsepower, energy savers characterises a moulded cog design with the proven reliability, economy, and efficiency of conventional v belts. Two versions - power king cog and power ace cog are available. Benefits i] energy savings: because precision designed cogs increase flexibility, the belt will bend more easily around the sheave. Belt flexing wastes less energy, in the form of heat, so the motors work more efficiently. Cog design permits the use of smaller sheaves and more efficient, higher rpm motors; ii] higher horsepower ratings: cog belts provide up to 70% higher horsepower ratings than conventional belts, especially on high rpm drives, or on small diameter sheaves. Saves money by using fewer belts per drive; iii] compact drives: reducing the number of belts and sheave grooves saves weight space and money; and iv] reduced maintenance: because cog belts last longer and require fewer take ups, they reduce maintenance and downtime expense.
