Hindustan machine tools presents 6-axis cnc turning centre with space saving modular design. Parts like hardened and ground rectangular guide ways and a short main spindle are fixed to ensure rigidity. The turning centre has a sub-spindle, and contour milling with x, y and z-axes. Direct rpm and css programming control the spindle speed. The machine has an automatic job transfer on the fly, from left to right spindle chuck. The machine is capable of performing simultaneous turning of first and second side operations. Also, it can perform complete machining-milling, drilling and tapping - in a single set-up for better surface finish and accuracy. The cnc turning center has high-performance ac variable speed drive for spindle, ac servo drives for axes, and a 12-station tool turret.
