Base Board with Female Sockets provides number of interfaces on standard connectors for the micro-controller modules. It has on-board regulator to produce 5VDC from that. This 5VDC is supplied to the micro-controller module and is also used for on-board peripherals.

The technical specifications of Base Board with Female Sockets are as follows:

• On-board 5 digit 7 segment LED display.

• Interface for character LCD module. Provides space enough to mount 16 char X 2 rows LCD directly on SM-BaseBoard.

• LCD backlighting can be always ON or always OFF or controlled by micro-controller port pin. One of these 3 options can be selected by jumper.

• On-board 3V battery - for providing backup to RTC in micro-controller modules.
