The Snort Valve with Silencer is available in size ranging from 250 to 1800 mm. The collection of dust below the dust catcher is a big task considering the amount of dust accumulation during the Iron making process. In B F Stove areas, these Snort Valves with Silencer are used at Cold Blast Main, to maintain the Cold Blast Pressure to stoves without development of any load on the Blowers. A Silencer assembly is provided at the venting valve to minimize the “Noise Level” of outgoing air below 85 db. For some special cases, Silencers controlling the Noise level below 60 db are also available on the special demand for special applications.
