Integrated technology offers chemlube 5073 high temperature chain oils for automotive paint shops. Industrial chains often work under severe conditions of heat, in textile works [stenter chains], in car factories, or in pottery and glass kilns. Large chains are mainly used in the conveyor systems, but the difficult applications are mainly those involving severe heat from the ovens. Such high temperature conveyor bearings have always presented a difficult lubrication problem. Chemlube 5073 is based on proprietary blend of high performance synthetic oils and selects additives for tack and anti-wear properties. Designed especially for conveyor chains in the paint-shops, these are compatible with sensitive paints and their high temperature stability enable chains to operate up to 250°c. Temperature affects lubricants in two ways: oxidation and evaporation. In both cases, chemlube 5073 offers superior performance. Measured against other high synthetic chain oils, it shows remarkably better resistance against oxidation and evaporation at elevated temperatures. The higher temperature performance of chemlube 5073 is also coupled with a substantial reduction in the coefficient of friction enabling greater mechanical efficiency to be achieved in the chain transmission. This oil demonstrates exceptional attributes that ensure reduced maintenance, consumption and component rejections. Features: excellent wear protection with low friction rates; adherent additives prevent drop-off and spin off; outstanding creeping and penetrating properties; resistant to chemical fumes; no lacquers; evaporates leaving no residues; and excellent corrosion protection.
