Takumi h-series high speed machining centres are especially developed for die and mould industry. In order to provide machines with distinguished accuracy and stability, advanced software is used to have dynamic simulation and structure analysis. Spindle thermal growth compensation system is installed on takumi h7/h9 to ensure the consistent accuracy. The circumambient cooling system enormously reduces thermal expansion effect and therefore assures the accuracy during operation. T-shape machine bed design ensures superior rigidity, distinguished accuracy and stability, made of high-quality meehanite cast iron with durable ribbed frame. All castings are stress relieved and seasoning treated for long-term accuracy and long service life. Double columns combined with the base in vertical way ensure the machine accuracy. The h series adopt a free counterbalance weight design to increase the dynamic characteristics of the z-axis. The suspension of the spindle-head is more than 50 per cent less than that of the conventional model to increase the rigidity of the machine. Disk type automatic tool magazine with the design of automatic door can keep tools clean and increase tool life and quality. All 3 axes adopt linear guide-ways, which have the characteristics of high rigidity and low wear to ensure machining dynamic precision and machine durability. All 3 axes adopt high-precision ball screws to ensure high-precision positioning and repeatability of the machine. Rapid traverse rate is 32 m/min, and cutting feed rate 20 m/min. The acceleration of 3 axes can be up to 1 g. Absolute encoder position motors on 3-axes reduce time cost.
