Vijayesh instruments manufactures digital peak hold temperature indicators suitable for measuring the temperature of molten metal [ferrous or non-ferrous] in a furnace or ladle. The digital peak hold temperature indicators include an immersion lance with a thermocouple [expendable, type k, s, r or b], compensating cable and the instrument. The lance is absorbed into the molten metal bath and the total measurement is completed within three to five seconds. The temperature plateau detection software overlooks erratic and transient readings caused by furnace hot spots, spikes in electric supply, slag, etc. The digital peak hold temperature indicator works on 230 v ac. A printer for recording purpose or external large display for remote sensing can be connected to the device.
