Vijayesh instruments offers digital peak hold temperature indicators. These indicators are suitable for measuring temperature of molten metal [ferrous/non-ferrous] in furnace or ladle. The complete system comprises of immersion lance with a thermocouple [expandable, type k, s, r or b], compensating cable and the instruments. The lance is immersed into the molten metal bath and the total measurement is completed within 3-5 seconds. Temperature plateau detection software ignores erratic and transient readings caused by furnace hot spots, spikes in electric supply, slag, etc. The temperature indicators work on 230 v ac. A printer for record purpose or external large display for remote snsing can be connected to the instruments.
