Rajasthan-based pepl offers micro controller based digital temperature scanners [scn-200, 300, 400], which are highly reliable and accept rtd pt-100, thermocouple, dc ma or dc volt inputs, and are available up to 32 channels. The display is 7-segment led with channel number. These digital scanners comes with common dead band facility with relay output for alarm/trip and trip set point is configurable. Alarm and trip set points are programmable through feather touch keyboard for all the channels and visual indication by separate led for each channel for trip/alarm condition. 1 no/nc relay contact with 5a/230 v ac common for all trip and alarm set points or can also be arranged in three groups with up to six relay outputs. It gives 4-20 ma dc retransmission output corresponding to channel having maximum temperature for rtd and thermocouple input. Cold junction compensation for thermocouple input and lead resistance compensation for pt-100 sensor input are in-built and standard. Along with the above features some of other standard features with this type of digital scanners include auto scan, hold mode and skip facility with zero and span calibration through software. It operates on 110/220 v ac supply and is housed in ms cabinets.
