United engineering manufactures centrifuges/hydroextractors for a wide range of solid-liquid separation duties in chemical, dyes, drug and pharmaceutical, and textile industries. The main shaft is of alloy steel, amply proportioned to withstand the loads imposed on it by the centrifugal forces caused by all normal/uneven distribution of the charge in the basket. The bearings supporting the main shaft are heavy duty roller type. The basket shell is normally perforated and is adequately thick to withstand the loads caused by the centrifugal forces developed by the charge in the basket. They are fitted with heavy duty three-point pendulum suspension for vibration absorption. The drive system consists of a tefc electrical motor which drives the basket through v-belts.These centrifuges are offered in ms or ss or ms/rl at contact surfaces.
