Precitec manufactures universal angular boring and milling heads. These convert horizontal borer into a true universal boring machine, avoiding tilting of the costly jobs in complex planes. It does all the operations in just one setting - bore, drill, tap and ream holes, at any given angle, thanks to the unique power quill feed mechanism for the quill combined with two twin pairs of spiral lapped bevel gears provided on the head. The head can be swiveled in two independent planes. The head provides 125 mm quill movement along the spindle axis. The quill feed rate is selectable through change gears provided. It also has rapid and coarse manual feed.
