Raj pumps provides regenerative side channel self-priming pumps, are suitable for domestic water supply, boiler feeding, condensate water circulation, handling mineral and vegetable oils, free of abrasive material. A non-return valve must be install to prevent ingress of dirty water from the boiler into the pumps. Segmental type, horizontal, side channel, self priming pumps, can handle liquids with entrained gases, fitted with vane wheel impellers. Both suction and delivery orifices show radially upwards. Bearings are fitted with two grease lubricated deep groove ball bearings, and sleeve bearings flushed with the liquid handled. Direction of rotation is clockwise, looking from the driving end side. Shaft sealing is conventional graphite and greased asbestos gland packing. Self-priming pumps technical specifications include: flange connections of 25 mm to 38 mm; capacity up to 120 lpm; head maximum is 135 meters; speed is 1440 rpm; and flanges are oval type.
