Specifications:
- BS 2874 CN102 has ISO Designation: CuNi10Fe1Mn. Cupro Nickel alloy, based on copper and nickel with minor addition of iron and manganese are noted universally for their particular resistance to with stand sea water corrosion and erosion. They are used widely in all product forms for heat exchanger, other water treatment and cooling plant desalination, etc.
- BS 1400 G3 has ISO Designation: CuSn7Ni5Zn3. The Nickel Gun Metal is many and varied, and include engine valve guides, resistance welding equipment Bearing bushes, Chuk Nuts, Gear Components, motion translation devices, etc
- BS 2870 NS 104 has ISO Designation: CuNi12Zn24. This is standard grade for general purpose applications. The addition of half hard temper material imparts rigidity and spring properties. Again the presence of nickel provides corrosion and tarnish resistance
