These are made from high carbon spring steel [en-42j] having hrc 44-51, as also from ss-304, ss-316 material. These pins are usable in place of rivets, nuts, bolts, washers, clevis pins, retaining rings, set screws and other threaded components. These dowel spring pins are flexible and can absorb shock and vibrations. Thus they are easy to insert. They can be removed and reutilised. No interlocking is available.
