Preetham products manufactures flexible pvc shrouds and boots for busbar joint insulation. These shrouds are easily mountable, reusable and serviceable apart from aesthetic looks they offer to application, good ageing and insulation properties are the utmost advantages. Raw material used is a specially formulated plastisol which is moulded into custom designed shapes through a very versatile process called dip moulding. Basic advantages of the process are the easy and inexpensive tooling and design flexibility options, which is a gift for product prototyping and launch. Depending on the volumes tooling can be either shared or even made free of cost. The component hardness is around 60 -/+ 10 shore a with tensile strength of > 65 kglcm2 and > 300 elongation. Dielectric withstands voltage up to 36 kv and thermal stability at 90c apart from flame retardancy [ul vo compliant] is the other properties of the material. The shrouds can be custom designed by dimensions as well as properties. Glossy seamless red and black finish are the aesthetic advantages. Specially designed buttons are supplied along with the shrouds. The shrouds are manufactured by using standard raw materials on specially designed machines under high quality standards.
