Fairdeal power controls offers thyristorised ac soft starters applicable for induction motors ranging from 50 hp to 1000 hp ensuring soft start of ac motors, adjustable low starting surge current, reduced mechanical stress and shock on motor and load. These machines also reduce energy costs by reducing the maximum demand of electricity. The thyristorised ac soft starters are available with technical features like adjustable 2 to 100 sec acceleration, adjustable pedestal voltage setting for break-away torque of motor at starting, independent adjustment for starting current and running current trip level, phase reversal and phase failure trip. These machines come with inbuilt current regulated acceleration feature where maximum current drawn by motor is adjusted between 100% to 550% of rated current as per application requirements. This is done through inbuilt electronic current sensor which continuously monitors the line current and feedback to electronic comparator to keep the rate of increasing applied voltage within the limit in a manner, so that the line current does not exceed preset value.
