Refined Iodized Free Flowing Salt Refinery is available in two types, vacuum refinery and mechanical refinery. When the purity of the NaCl is more than 95% and insoluble is low, mechanical refinery can purify the salt. However, when the NaCl in the salt is less which is around 75-77% and large amount of insoluble like mud and sand are present the salt, purification is only possible by a vacuum refinery.
