Deepak drives offers an efficient variable speed drive. This unit achieves infinitely variable speeds to numerous industrial applications where low cost, space saving and wide ratios are essential considerations. It includes two variable speed pulleys and a belt. One pulley is mechanically adjusted and the other is spring loaded. Both the pulleys operate together on a fixed centre distance. A wide speed range is up to 1:5. Variation of the output speed is obtained by means of a screw spindle. Both the pulleys are dynamically balanced. The drive can be provide up to 40 hp application.
