This versatile unit consists of three basic blocks; marking head, base and controller. The pc controlled systems provide fast flexible, high quality marking. Pin markers are fully programmable and capable of marking graphic symbols, date codes, batch numbers, fixed and variable data, 2d data matrix information. Pin markers are used in conjunction with any pc running on windows 98/2000/me/xp ro nt and can be easily interfaced to plc the marking head is available in 3 sizes: 50 x 80 mm, 100 x 80 mm and 200 x 200 mm. Simple shutter plate protects the rugged x/y platform from solid and liquid contaminants. The 2 axis has manual adjustment to allow components of differing heights [this can be electrically driven for single push button operation and automatic control]. Pin marker makes up to 99 different marking patterns remotely selectable via discrete 1/0 for start, abort, ready and done signals. The continuous line marking creates exceptional quality characters, achieving 5 characters/second with 400 kg of marking force with a 3 mm stylus and 700 kg marking force with the 6 mm stylus.
