Orbital system presents an electro-mechanical cam index drive. Some of the advantages of electro-mechanical cam index drive are; it does not require pneumatic connection, it has higher load capacity marked with a fast, smooth, jerk free indexing motion. By presetting indexing time, it can be used in either direction of motion. It is maintenance free. It could be used in automatic assembly machines, special purpose rotary machine, spot welding machine, screen and pad printing machines, etc.
