The double column structure of the machine provides extensive rigidity. The centring of aim is light and sensitive. The maximum rigidity leads to proportioned ribbed arm. The column diameter of the machine is 350.The two motors of the machine provide sufficient drilling power with the speed of4.8/6.1 hp. The self-aligning double-row ball bearing helps to bear up heavy axial loads. The easy movement of drilling head is provided by the proportioned arm guide surface precision-ground. The machine possesses automatic precision depth control device. Because of the presence of precision ground spindle sleeve and hardened and ground gears the machine generates minimum wear and tear. The arm swings smoothly around the column along with arm sleeve on ball bearings against hardened. In each direction the machine has 12 speeds. Rapid spindle reversal, which leads to tap withdrawal, is done by single lever control. The machine is also provided with another single lever control for locking head on arm, arm on sleeve and sleeve on fixed column. The machine possesses six auto feeds and fine feed hand wheel.
