The `kaycee` type `rm` [removal mechanism] offers water meter. This water meter is fitted on a cast iron lid and encased in a flanged cast iron housing. The entire mechanism is removable. For servicing, only the cast iron lid with the mechanism fitted on it is unbolted and removed for repairs. To speedily restore supply of water, blank lid is then bolted on the housing.
