Carbon Steel Lock Nuts are used along with adapter sleeve to locate bearing in position. Carbon Steel Lock Nuts, KM-KML & HM-HML Series are capable to be used directly on threaded shaft end to locate bearing or on tapered journals to dismount bearings. These Lock Nuts are provided with four or eight equally spaced slots around outer diameter to facilitate use of hook spanner. The larger nuts from size HML 41T have Trapezoidal where suffix `T` indicates the same.
