Bharat mechanical works has developed a heavy-duty spin-riveting machine with 650 mm throat depth which is capable of developing 3 tonnes force at a 650 mm deep cantilever point using a pneumo-hydraulic linear drive. This heavy duty spin riveting machine is available with a pedestal type fabricated c-frame structure with 0.01 mm squareness with respect to the base in a ram travel of 200 mm. The machine can aptly rivet filter meshes in large leaf filters used in oil filtration tanks which have to withstand high pressures during filtration process. The company has developed a double spindle spin-riveting machine capable of simultaneously riveting two assemblies at a centre distance of as close as 19.3 mm which can be extensively used in the riveting of 3 pin sockets.
