These can be connected to all plcs in the simatic s5 95u and s5 100u series by siemens and permit the direct coupling of up to 16 input and 16 output bytes between the systems. The host-controller bard also enables simple bus diagnosis by displaying the power supply and bus activity. The interbus s5 modules permit the benefits of the open interbus system to be utilized in smaller applications and small decentralized and networked s5 controls.
