The quix inserts provide plug-in compatibility with plug connectors equipped with screwed, crimped or spring-cage connection systems, and fit in all common housings in the band e series. These are available in male and female versions with 6, 10, 16 and 24 pins. A further advantage is the low-cost plug keying system of the quix inserts. This prevents errors in plugging in a number of identical plug connectors. Red keying strips are simply slid into the corresponding slots of the contact inserts and lock in place automatically.
