Phoenix contact has introduced coaxial contact insets, pluscon-hcm. Pluscon-hcm is a modular contact inset system for heavy-duty b-shape plug connectors. The modules in a metal frame can be connected with various electrical ratings and pneumatic modules for hoses with different diameters. Contact inset modules for 50 w coaxial contacts are available as well those for electric and pneumatic modules. Each contact inset module includes up to four coaxial contacts. . The new plug connector system may be applicable where the power supply and signal transmissions for images and sound are combined in one connector.
