The rugged design of Variable Area Flowmeters features instant interchangeability of all essential components. The Variable Area Flowmeters are available in several versions to suit application needs. Among the various versions of Variable Area Flowmeters:

• Metal Tube versions are available in sizes up to 100mm, and accuracy class 1.6/2.5. Special metal tube versions with PTFE lining of wetted parts and steam jacketing are also offered.
There are also versions available for high pressures [up to 400 bar] and temperatures [up to 400 degrees C]. Several options exist including 4-20 mA re-transmission signals, magnetic filters and built-in totalizers.

• Glass Tube versions are available in sizes up to 50mm, and accuracy class 1. Flanged, Pipe Threads, Hose Nozzle and Food approved Screw Connections are available.

• The miniature DK Series in metal and glass tube versions is available for very small flow rates. Glass tube miniature DK series feature a precision flow control valve and DP regulators and are capable of measuring flow rates of 0.04 LPH of water and 0.5 LPH for air. They feature an accuracy class of ½.5/4/6. The metal tube miniature DK series is capable of operating under pressure of up to 160 bar and features an accuracy class of 1. Options for including limit switches exist in all versions.
