Product Profile of Fm Piston Valve
FM Piston Valve is supplied by Forbes Marshall which is an ISO 9001 certified company. The FM Piston Valve is zero leak isolation Piston Valve, in which the seat and gland are replaced by Lower and Upper Sealing rings along with a Piston. This overcomes the difficulties usually associated with the replacement of conventional seats. The FM Piston Valve is the name for prevention of inline leakage as well as leakage through glands, making for leak-proof isolation in the pipelines. The FM Piston Valve is a seat less and gland less Piston Valve. At the heart of the FM piston valve are Piston & sealing rings. A burnished piston seals against SS reinforced graphite rings to achieve a leak proof shutoff. This unique design ensures a long life even at high temperatures up to 427 degrees C. FM Piston Valve is operative friendly and means with little amount of effort. Maintenance can be done easily and quickly that is internals can be removed without removing the valve body from the main line.
Key Features of Fm Piston Valve
- Larger effective sealing area
- Leak proof isolation - Class 6 shut off achieved.
- Durability - Piston unexposed to media
