Krohne coriolis mass flowmeters are specially designed and manufactured to meet the demands of difficult applications. These flowmeter are available for measuring mass flow and density of liquids, slurries and gases. They use the coriolis force for direct massflow measurement of any fluid. Since mass is measured directly, no calculations involving density or volume are required. Measurements are thus immune to variations in pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, electrical conductivity or the presence of gas bubbles or solid particles in the fluid medium. Simultaneous direct measurement of mass flow, density and temperature with volume, concentration, brix & baume as derived parameters are available as standard features, and upto 3 current outputs as an option.
The optimass single, straight tube design model with titanium or hastealloy c tube is suitable for flow ranges from 950 kg/hr to 430000 kg/hr. This version is without any welds or joints ensuring no choking and is completely self draining. The optimass single bent tube design is specially designed for measuring low flowrates from 15 kg/hr to 350 kg/hr and for pressures upto 150 bar. A heating jacket option for congealing liquids is available on all these versions.
