These couplings are made according to MIL/DIN/NFPA/ISO/HTPA standards and are interchangeable with all standard international brands of same specifications. These are constructed without any valves to provide least resistance to fluid flow. Hence, they need manual shut off valve in both lines if fluid loss is to be avoided when the coupling is disconnected.
