Salient featues - rating 10a, 20a for single phase [2p+e] 230v, 50 hz ac; 20 a, 30a for 3-phase [3p+e] 415 v. 50hz ac; metal clad plugs and sockets, designed for heavy duty industrial application; in-house painting and lacquering on plug and sockets enclosure surface provides better finish and longer life; provided with deeply recessed phosphor bronze contacts in sockets for complete safety; provided with a scrapping earth connection which makes before and breaks after the main live circuit connection; at the entry of the plug plastic cable guard provides protection of incoming flexible cable; facility of self-adjustment of bronze contacts of the sockets ensures easy removal of wiring, push on protective cap to prevent accidental human contact with plug pins while inserting or taking out the plug. These are tested in-house as per is/iec309 part 1 & 3.
