The Stator Heating and Shrink Fitting Units are used in electrical motor industry where wound stators are fixed in aluminum casting. For fast and correct fitting of wound stators, the outer casting is preheated to about 300 degree C and then slipped over stator on a shrink-fitting unit. Heated casting is then air-cooled by blowing air over casting. The Stator Heating and Shrink Fitting Units include IR heaters. Heater reflectors are also air cooled for continuous duty.
