Steam & mining industries manufactures screw down stop check valves. This type of check valve is quite similar to the normal globe valve, but is also a kind of check valve--a combination of the globe and the lift check valve. It differs from the design of the globe valve, in that the disc is independent from the stem and has a smaller rising, lift than the globe valve. The flow is normally regulated by the globe valve and protected from reversal flow by the check valve, both being always combined in installation. But the above screw down stop check valve combines two functions in one.
