  • Alkaline Resistance:5% NaOH 20°C: 300 Hrs. passed
    5% NaOH 20°C: 480 Hrs. passed
  • Corrosion Resistance:Salt spray to ASTM B117
    On forged brass: 270 - 600
    On forged brass (passivated): 350 - 1000
    On cast brass (passivated): 200 Hrs. plus
    On zinc die-cast (direct) (passivated): 260 - 550
    On mild steel (phospated): 300
    On stainless steel (passivated): 300 - 2000 + Hrs. depending on type
    On aluminium (Extruded): 2000 Hrs. + (Salt spray tests are discontinued after 20 W Hrs.)
