The housing design, the connection systems as well as the sensoric properties of the new optical sensor family gl18 [m18 housing], have been standardized / customized to a high degree. These sensors find applications in packaging, material handling, and logistics. Different types of glv 18 sensors offered are through-beam sensors, retro-reflective sensors with / without polarization filter, and reflection light scanners with 200 and 400 mm detection range. All versions are also available with 90° optical systems. Features of the glv18 series are short design in flat m18 housing, robust plastic housings, 4 leds for optimum visibility, clearly visible operating components, easy connection with m12 connector and fixed cable, and flexible installation with clever mounting accessories.
