Standard valve flaps and seats are made of long wearing heat resistant ni-hard, highly recommended for handling abrasive materials. The flapper valves can be repeatedly reground for extended life. Operating mechanism on all valves is designed for the resurfacing of seats and flaps. Special alloys such as ni-resist or stainless steel are available for special applications. All parts are held to close standard tolerances for interchangeability. These dust valves are regularly equipped for operating temperatures up to 650°f.
