Fibre candle filters are used as in expensive solution to mist emission control problems. These candles are vertical & gases pass horizontally through filter wall. Filter medium can be of glass wool, polypropylene & polyester filter. Fiber candle filter is used in sulphur acid mist, phosphoric acid mist, fertilizer prill towers and dry/wet chlorine etc.
