Kana electromechs manufacture electronic ear. The electronic ear is specially developed for control and regulation of ball mills, using the grinding sound frequency signal for optimizing the mill output. According to the material bed height, the grinding media causes a characteristic noise. In case of high material bed i.E. Maximum filling level, there is a hollow grinding sound [low grinding frequency]. Whereas for low material bed i.E. Minimum filling level, there is a high-pitched sound [high grinding frequency]. This characteristic of grinding frequency is sensed through sound sensor and the output of the sensor is used to develop an output ma signal representing mill filling level. This signal can be used for regulation of the feeding of the mill and / or for digital indication of the mill filling level.
