Key Features of Induction Motor Operated Electric Wire Rope Hoist

• Motors: flange mounted squirrel cage induction motors with comparatively higher H.P. and higher starting torque to reduce handling time.
• Rope Drum is made of seamless pipe machined and grooved accurately, to ensure proper seating of wire rope in a proper layer.
• The drum is fitted with two heavy duty Ball or Roller bearings for smooth operation and longer life.
• Rope guide is made of close grain castings and prevents the rope from overriding and loosening.
• Limit switches provided as a safety feature to limit the over hoisting and over lowering of the hook.
• All gears are helical type and cut from alloy steel / low carbon steel
• The pinions and gears are supported on anti-friction bearings on both ends.
• Modular construction and brake, motors, gear box and Control panel are independent units and are accessible easily.
• Push-pull, Hand Geared or Motorized Trolleys are of adjustable type and fitted with ball bearings
• Heavy duty high tensile steel forged hooks are used and fitted in such a manner that they rotate and swivel freely
