Hamilton electronics supplies magnetic float switches suitable for vertical and horizontal mounting applications. Vertical magnetic float switch consists of a magnetized float sliding over a vertical shaft within which the sensor [switch] is located. Horizontal float switch consists of a magnetized floating arm moving up and down like a fulcrum and housing within which the sensor is located. The float switch can be used as a sensor to indicate upper and lower levels in tanks and can be used to control the pump operation automatically. Hamilton vertical float switches are best suited for water, oil, diesel, petrol, and coolant liquid level sensing. Horizontal float switches can be used in small tanks where vertical mounting is not possible. Same switch can be mounted for n/c or n/o function depending on the operational requirements.
