Blower outlet of Engine Exhaust Disposal System is fitted with residential silencer to minimize the sound level.
Key Features of Engine Exhaust Disposal System
- One common Exhaust blower for test cells will be provided.
- System will be suitable and capable of handling engine exhaust.
- Pollution emitted from the system in terms of noise, deposits and odor will be minimized so as to cause no ill effect to the site or surrounding area, and will comply and be in accordance with all appropriate local, national and international regulation. Ducting for the engine exhaust will be designed to simulate working condition of the engine in the field.
- Exhaust pipe running inside the test cell will be of SS and comprising silencer to reduce the noise level.
- This portion of the pipe shall be well insulated to ensure the surface temperature of any item or items is below 100 degree C.
- Blower outlet shall be fitted with residential silencer to minimize the sound level.
- The height of the chimney shall be in accordance with the CPCB norms.
- Provision shall be made for sampling to measure the emission.
- Visibility of the discharge points of each of the systems from ground level shall be minimized wherever possible to ensure that all components are beyond the line of sight. Exhaust gas dilution shall be provided by injection of fresh air. If required individual chimney can be provided.
